Noah Benjamin

Finally, Noah decided to come see us. He was born on May 26th at 7:42am. After a long night of contracting, getting antibiotics and not sleeping, he came quickly after 6 am in the morning. I was so relieved to have him out and so glad to see him. He is nothing that I was picturing. He has blonde hair, I pictured dark brown, he was much smaller than I ever expected - 6lbs, 9oz, 18.5 inches. And I love him more than I ever thought I could. I miss him when I haven't held him for a while. The last two mornings, I woke up before he did and it took everything in me not to wake him up so I could hold him. Ryan is doing really well with him and always says how much he "lubs" Noah's hair. Life seems perfect right now.

Andrea was able to come and help out with delivery and I am so thankful that she was willing to be there. I am also grateful to Amy who helped us out with Ryan the night before. My mom, mother-in-law and Missy also were there and I was so glad that they were able to share this experience with us.

Now the fun part...here are a couple of my favorite pictures...

Ice Cream

The two main things my brain focuses on right now are Noah and ice cream. Most of the time I think about Noah...when he will come, what he will look like, when he will come, etc. When I am not thinking about him, I am thinking about ice cream. Lately I love vanilla with bananas and chocolate syrup. I can't wait until it is ice cream time tonight.

Andrea was a really nice friend tonight and came over to check my cervix. The stats are: dilated to almost 3, 60% effaced and the baby is head down at a -2 station. Yay for the head down and yay for the almost 3. Thanks for the info, Andrea!

Ryan

My little Ryan is turning out to have two personalities. On one hand he is two, and good at it. But, he shows this sweet side every once and a while that makes my heart melt. On Friday night, Rob's Grandma gave him a one dollar bill for his piggy bank. He put it in his pocket, which is his favorite thing to do with money. On Saturday morning, I retrieved the bill from his pocket and gave it to him and told him to put it in his bank. He said no, he wants to put it into Noah's bank. So he did.

Yup, I'm still pregnant. I am trying not to be, but my body won't listen. At the doctors last week I was dialated to about 2 and was 60% effaced. Sounds good, but I realize I can stay that way for a long time. Until things start happeneing, I guess I have a good place to put my drinking glass....
