Zombie

This third shift thing has me all messed up. I am always tired during the day...zombie-like...and seem to perk up in the middle of the night. Like tonight. It's 2:22am, and I am up. I cleaned the bathroom, wrote out some bills, unloaded the dishwasher, did some laundry, and now I am not quite sure what to do. I really need to vaccuum, but I am not sure that is such a good idea.

I am still loving being a nurse. There are things about *where* I work that are frustrating, but aside from that, things are going well. I am learning a lot, and work with another nurse (she has the same schedule as I do) who is becoming a good friend. I have been working too much, though, but have promised not to pick up any additional shifts in the next two months. I will miss the overtime on my paycheck, but I will love the extra time at home.

The boys are super excited about this new weather we are having. They love to be outside. Rob even took them out for ice cream the other night. Ryan really wants to go to the zoo and the beach, but I tell him that he has to wait until it gets warmer. He asks almost everyday and yesterday told me (in his whiny voice) "but mom, it is taking so long!". I know Ryan, I know.
