Updates

Noah and Ryan are doing well. Noah has been doing really well on his schedule and sleeps for 4 to 5 hour stretches at night. (Once and a while there is a three hour one, but I can't complain). He has started his eat, play, sleep routine every three hours during the day and seems to be a pro. I love holding him and looking at him.

Ryan has been a really good big brother, but hasn't quite been himself since this huge change in his l ife. He seems to be a little more sensitive and tries to push us more than ever. But, he has done some things that have shocked me (in a good way). Yesterday after breakfast, I walked into the kitchen to find him scraping his breakfast scraps into the garbage and putting his plate, fork and cup into the sink. He also is good about throwing Noah's diapers away for us and still "lubs" Noah's hair.

I am still a little in shock that we have two babies. It is wierd when ever I hear Rob say "the boys". But last night as I was holding Noah and Rob was playing with Ryan, I couldn't stop thinking about how blessed we were and how much I loved being in that moment.

And baby makes four

Life has been one huge adjustment the last week. Obviously the schedule adjustment is a biggie, but there have been others as well. Ryan has had to adjust to not being our whole world and share us with his baby brother. Rob and I have had to adjust to having someone completely dependent on us again while at the same time watching our big boy dress himself and help us take care of Noah. Noah has had to adjust to life outside of me...getting cold, hungry and messy. Things have been going well. Almost too well. Noah has been a great baby, sleeping at night for the most part and not being too fussy. Ryan has been very loving toward his new brother and Rob and I are doing well on much less sleep than we are used to. I am so thankful for this time. And for digital cameras....
